Naiara Leão Alves Inácio, PhD student, was honored at the University of Iowa’s annual Celebration of Excellence and Achievement Among Women on April 7.

During this celebration Naiara was awarded the Adah Johnson/Otilia Maria Fernandez Women’s Studies Scholarship from the Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies Department (GWSS) for Summer 2021.

This scholarship recognizes demonstrated admirable commitments to feminist scholarship and activism.
