
Dr. Troy Mills has successfully defended his dissertation titled, "The RastafarI and the Nation of Islam: From Black Internationalism to Globalization, 1960s – 1980s."
Troy's advisor is Dr. Richard Turner, and his dissertation committee members are: Ray Mentzer, Kristy Nabhan-Warren, and Tara Bynum, and Anny Curtius. Troy will graduate with his PhD in May, and he currently holds a non-tenure track appointment as a Post-Doctoral Fellow of Religious Studies and Visiting Assistant Professor of Religious Studies and Visiting Instructor of Religious Studies at Claremont McKenna College.
