Kaitlyn Lindgren-Hansen, doctoral candidate in the Department of Religious Studies has been awarded a Dissertation Writing Fellowship by The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
This fellowship is awarded to support the completion of her dissertation, “A Medium's Media: Spiritualism and Women's Writing in the Nineteenth-Century U.S.,” and is intended to supplant the need for paid work during Summer and Fall 2023.
Kaity received her master's degree in the U of Iowa Department of Religious Studies Department, and now she is well on her way to finishing her PhD. Dr. Diana Cates is Kaity's advisor.
