Professor Emeritus David E. Klemm passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024. The faculty, staff, emeritus professors, along with so many alumni are mourning this loss. Dr. Klemm received his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa under the mentorship of Professor Robert Scharlemann. 

He joined the faculty of the Religious Studies department in 1982.  David taught many large courses over the years and mentored numerous undergraduate honors projects and masters students along with his 17 Ph.D. students. David’s debilitating illness forced his early retirement in 2011. You will see a few other pictures on our Facebook post.
